He’s too emphatic with certain words which makes his voice shift quite strangely. I love the song, but Wilkinson is by no means my favourite Valjean. Allam’s my favourite Javert, though.
Allam’s your favorite Javert, eh? /Shocking/. I think he could play a tree and he’d be your favorite tree ever. ;)
I would become quite the tree hugger, it’s true ;-) I’m trying to think of an occasion of him -not- being my ‘favourite something’ but attempts have thus far fallen flat. What can I say? I’m smitten and he’s perfection.
